What is your policy for delays and cancellations?

A

Morning Delays - If the public schools are on a delay, please refer to the television stations, Facebook page, and website for center delays.  You can also call the building for up to date information.  Please note: If nothing is listed, we are open as normal.  IAW serves working families there,fore, we rarely would close due to inclement weather.

 

School Closing - If Lebanon City Schools closes due to inclement weather; IAW will be on an automatic two-hour delay.  The center will open at 8:30 am.  If the City of Lebanon declares a Level 3 Snow Emergency, the center will be closed.

What age children do you care for?

Imaginations at Work cares for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

What are your ratios?

A

Imaginations at Work prides it self in maintaining below state required ratios.  Ratios can fluctuate on a daily basis based on attendance.  You can view state required ratios by clicking here.

What Curriculum do you use?   

A

Imaginations at Work uses Creative Curriculum for all ages 6 weeks to 5 years.  Our School-Age program uses "Building the Primary Classroom"  You can find more information about our curriculum by visiting our programs page.

What are your teacher qualifications?      

A

Imaginations at Work only hires the most qualified applicants available.  Many of our teachers have degrees in Early Childhood Education, others are currently enrolled in courses.  All of our staff are required to attend 10 hours a year of ongoing education in the Early Childhood field.  Additionally, all of our teachers are certified in First-Aid, CPR, Recognition of Child Abuse, and Recognition of Communicable Diseases.

What is your visitation policy?   

A

Imaginations at Work has an open door policy.  We encourage parents and grandparents to come visit with your child during the day.  We hold many classroom parties, which families are always invited.  If you would like to visit, please let the office or your child's teacher know.
